this morning was hyde park's first trick-or-treat event on the square so we headed over to check it out and show anastasia one of our favorite parts of town. the kids were super excited to get candy and had fun running from store to store. we met up with randall, antje and the girls and also bumped into the elrod's and some old neighbors. i think it gave anastasia a good sense of what a small town this really is :) after a fun-filled morning we stopped at carl's deli to pick up lunch and then headed home. brooke, hanna and gavin have been playing together just about every minute of every day and there have been absolutely no issues. i love having the three of them together again. later, anastasia and i took advantage of the opportunity to have a girls' night out complete with some shopping at nordstrom rack and dinner at the bar at boca. it was nice to spend some quality time together and enjoy a kid-free dinner :) something we should have done more often when we lived in the same city....
