this morning we drove halfway to dayton to meet bob and kaye and drop the kids off with them. kaye invited brooke to see a pinkalicious play, and gavin is going to hang out with bob bob. this is a picture that kaye took of brooke and some of the actors in the play. brooke had a great time even though she was acting very shy in this picture :) kevin and i had a really great day to ourselves. it was beautiful out. we did a little shopping and then drove over to perfect north for the first time. they were having a ski swap so we wanted to check out the merchandise. we didn't end up buying anything at the swap, but we did buy me my very own pair of skis and boots in their ski shop!!! so exciting! kevin said all he cared about is that i love the boots... i've been known to complain a little bit about uncomfortable ski boots in the past :) now i have some very plush and cozy boots that fit me properly. i'm a lucky girl. we're excited to take the kids skiing once winter arrives. after a full day out and about we came home and enjoyed a delicious, quiet dinner together. oh, the joys of living close to grandparents again...!
