brooke is loving kindergarten, and today she started a 6-week after school art enrichment program that i signed her up for since they don't teach art in kindergarten. since brooke is in 1/2 day kindergarten, i have to drive her to school at the end of the regular school day for her to attend this class, but i'm happy to do it. thankfully the class is on wednesdays, and mom is often around to help me out in case gavin is still napping. today we had to find the art room. then i got brooke settled in and made sure she was comfortable. the program is for K-6 so brooke is in class with some older kids, but she has a friend and neighbor in the class so i think she will do just fine. i love to fuel brooke's natural passion for art, and i hope this class helps her grow as an artist.
